Job Title: Mechanic Helper

A STAR TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIRS is seeking a reliable and organized Mechanic Helper to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and physically fit individual to assist our mechanics with various tasks, including moving equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and signaling safety procedures to other workers and the general public.

Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics with moving tools, equipment, and other materials
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Requirements
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Organized and team player
  • Experience an asset
Work Environment

A STAR TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIRS is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and will be expected to work under pressure.
