About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at m-Health Solutions Inc. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal network performance.
  • User Support: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect network assets and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Network Monitoring and Maintenance: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Network Optimization: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, optimize server performance, and set up local area networks and connections to the Internet.
  • Web Development and Maintenance: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts, and perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise technical staff and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of IT services.
Requirements
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in Internet, MS Office, and spreadsheet software.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with attention to detail.
  • Work Arrangements: Permanent position, 30 hours per week, with English as the primary work language.
