About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Cheese Curds and Habaneros. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent performance.
  • Operations and Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and be able to work under pressure.
    • Be physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
