Civil Designer Job Description

Pinnacle Engineering is seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join their team. As a Civil Designer, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including CAD drafting assignments, project management, estimating, and civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the project management team on various civil engineering projects.
  • Perform CAD drafting assignments using AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, estimating, and client communication.
  • Ensure compliance with Municipal and Provincial Development Regulations/Design Standards.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in civil design and drafting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Extensive experience in municipal/civil infrastructure design and site development.
  • Strong project management skills, including scheduling, estimating, and effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of Municipal and Provincial Development Regulations/Design Standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Superior organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
