Art Instructor Opportunity at MS Orange Academy of Art Inc.

We are seeking a skilled Art Instructor to join our team at MS Orange Academy of Art Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching art classes, creating artwork, and supervising other artists or apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach art techniques and methods to students, including drawing, painting, sculpting, and other forms of artistic expression.
  • Create original artwork using various mediums, such as acrylics, chalk, crayons, ink, oil colors, pastels, pencils, poster colors, charcoal, and watercolors.
  • Supervise and mentor students, providing guidance and feedback to help them improve their skills.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring a engaging and challenging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other instructors to plan and deliver art programs.
Requirements:
  • College or CEGEP education in a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in teaching art or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of art techniques and methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and creative environment at MS Orange Academy of Art Inc. The work term is permanent, with 30-40 hours per week. The work language is English.
