We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at PBS Red Deer Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including meats, vegetables, and sides, to meet the needs of our customers.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal kitchen performance.
- Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to stand for long periods of time.
- Dental plan.
- Health care plan.
- Permanent work term.
- English language.
- 40 hours per week.
