We are seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team at Arcadis Professional Services (Canada) Inc.
Job Summary:The Construction Inspector will be responsible for ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and building codes during construction projects. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:- Examine plans, drawings, and site layouts to ensure compliance with project specifications
- Inspect construction of buildings and engineering projects to ensure adherence to building codes and regulations
- Enforce steel and concrete installation codes to ensure structural integrity
- Inspect sewer systems and pipelines to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Ensure safe working conditions are maintained on construction sites
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, architecture)
- 3-5 years of experience in construction inspection or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
