SEO Strategist Job Description

At VERB Interactive, we're seeking a skilled SEO Strategist to join our team. As a vital part of our digital marketing team, you'll be responsible for devising and implementing SEO strategies that drive success for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day SEO activities for retainers and new builds
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies for clients, leveraging optimization techniques and technical SEO expertise
  • Generate comprehensive SEO reports and provide valuable insights to clients
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of SEO for both existing and new projects
  • Collaborate with the SEO team lead to develop and implement an integrated SEO strategy for clients

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of SEO experience
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ranking factors and SEO best practices
  • Working knowledge of CMS' such as Wordpress and Drupal
  • Experience managing SEO for websites with Wordpress and Drupal
  • Experience crawling and analyzing websites for technical SEO issues
  • Proven experience managing domain indexing with Google Search Console
  • Knowledge of technical SEO tools and keyword tools
  • Experience managing organic search efforts for multiple clients
