Combo Worker

Royal Camp Services Ltd is a leading provider of remote location accommodations for workforce housing. We offer long-term and seasonal employment in various industries, including culinary, hospitality, and remote site services.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Combo Worker to join our team. As a Combo Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the living areas occupied by staff and clients, as well as assisting in the kitchen as needed.

• Clean bedrooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, washing windows and blinds, and spot cleaning walls
• Clean bathrooms, including replacing towels, replenishing toiletries, and disinfecting shower, toilet, sink, and wash bathroom floor
• Clean laundry room, including wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing shelves
• Clean common areas, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning walls
• Exterior housekeeping, including disposing of litter from parking lots and shoveling snow when needed
• Dish washing duties, utilizing the 3-sink cleaning method
• Stocking, shelving, and replenishing food and supplies in kitchen and dining areas
• Cleaning kitchen areas, including wiping counters, disinfecting tables, sweeping, and mopping
• Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks are completed
• Washing, peeling, and wrapping food
• Ensure food quality, food safety, and food standards are followed
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures as per task, product usage, or PPE requirements
• Participate in toolbox meetings and complete hazard assessments/identifications daily
• Report any maintenance issues and safety concerns to a supervisor
• Assist in unloading the grocery truck

• Candidates local to Terrace, Gitlaxt'aamiks, Gitwinksihlkw, Laxgalts'ap, Gingolx, and surrounding communities preferred
• 1 year of relevant experience
• Available to work multiple rotations, including 21-7, 14-14, and 14-7
• Must be able to travel to our camp transfer site located in Terrace, BC
• Able to work either a day shift or night shift
• A valid OFA1 or Standard First Aid Certificate required
• A valid FS1 or Alberta Health Services recognized Food Safety Certificate required
• A valid CSTS certification required
• Steel-toed non-slip work shoes required for all positions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking English
• Ability to work comfortably and maintain high levels of performance during 12-hour shifts
• Ability to lift/move up to 25lbs throughout a work shift
• Ability to provide at least 2 professional work references
