Morneau Transport is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products and materials from trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, store, and ship inventory, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and accounted for.
- Material Handling: Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders, ensuring that all items are accurately selected and packaged for shipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products and materials for damage or defects, and report any issues to management.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and health regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment.
- Skills: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
