About the Role:
The Product Technical Lead will be responsible for interfacing with customers and design teams to formalize requirements, generating plans and interface documents, and performing architecture design and safety analysis. They will also lead engineering teams throughout the product development, verification, and qualification phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that systems engineering tasks are performed in accordance with Aversan Inc engineering procedures.
- Manage and/or generate systems engineering related documentation, including ARP4754A/DO-254/DO-178/DO-160/RAMS plans, high-level design, technical requirements documents, Interface Control Documents, test requirements, test plans, methods of compliance, and present to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform Environmental and EMI/EMC (DO-160) requirement analysis and support qualification testing and results analysis.
- Collaborate with designers within cross-functional teams (hardware/electrical and software) to develop required designs/products and guide integration of sub-systems.
- Continually participate and support program risk assessment and mitigation.
- Analyze and solve detected problems within a team setting; Effectively lead all technical aspects of a development program to produce a product that meets customer requirements; Competence to perform validation and verification of the product at systems, hardware, and software levels.
- Perform causal/root cause analysis of detected problems and mitigate them.
- Plan and conduct product technical/customer/Quality/Audit reviews and testing activities, reports, and documentation.
- Effectively plan, manage, and achieve all design goals and milestones of the product development program.
- Support existing programs to meet other customer requirements, including conducting technical investigations, integration development, and program review meetings.
