About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Signals Intelligence Specialist to join our team at the Canadian Armed Forces. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in intercepting and analyzing electronic transmissions, protecting government networks, and ensuring the security of our computer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electronic Transmission Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze electromagnetic activity on radio frequencies using sophisticated equipment.
  • Network Security: Manage and protect computer networks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Information Technology Security: Secure information technology systems, including the operation of auxiliary equipment and the management of classified publications.
Requirements
  • Citizenship: Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Canada.
  • Age: Be at least 18 years old (17 years old with parental consent), except for certain exceptions.
  • Education: Have completed at least Grade 10 or Secondary IV in Quebec, including Grade 10 Applied Math (Math 416 or CST 4).
Work Environment

As a Signals Intelligence Specialist, you will work in a high-security, restricted-access facility, often in shifts. However, you will also have opportunities to work regular business hours and may be deployed around the world.

Training and Development

Upon joining our team, you will undergo comprehensive training, including the Basic Military Qualification course and specialized training in signals intelligence. You will also have opportunities to develop advanced skills through formal courses and on-the-job training.
