Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

At Goldfinch Services Canada Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Authorize Payments: Verify and authorize payments by cheque, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Order Merchandise: Coordinate the ordering and receipt of merchandise, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory management.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for sales associates, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that stock is properly stored, counted, and rotated.
  • Supervise Staff: Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to sales associates to ensure they meet performance expectations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:
