We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, working closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including equipment operation and maintenance.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
- Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
