Safeway is a leading grocery store chain in Canada, with over 1,600 stores across the country. As a pharmacist at Safeway, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing exceptional patient-centered care to our customers.

We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional pharmacist to join our team in Castlegar, British Columbia. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution and be a Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in the province of responsibility.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $52.00 - $55.00 per hour, based on factors such as location, experience, and skills. We offer a competitive hourly rate that reflects the value we place on our employees' contributions.

As a pharmacist at Safeway, you will be responsible for providing patient counselling and education, initiating care plans, and participating in professional programs to provide excellence in health & wellness services to all patients. You will also ensure prescription safety and thoroughly understand all relevant corporate pharmacy service offerings/programs.

To be considered for this role, you must have Injection and First Aid Certification, and Kroll software experience is preferred. Expected hours for this position are 16 – 24 per week, with an 8-hour shift schedule from Monday to Friday and occasional weekends as needed. The work location is Castlegar, BC V1N 2W6, and you will work in person.
