Operations Vice President

At Powernode Computer Inc., we are seeking an experienced Operations Vice President to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of organizational policies and programs, allocating resources, and coordinating the work of regions, divisions, or departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in a senior leadership role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Experience in managing a team of over 20 people
