Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Westlund. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking, packing, and shipping customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Receiving and verifying incoming vendor shipments and customer returns
  • Loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts, and other material handling equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve warehouse goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset
  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately process orders
