About the Role

Brookfield Renewable is seeking an experienced business and technology professional to lead IT project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects related to acquisitions and deployment of new services, following best practices in project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and direct the management and implementation of multiple projects.
  • Define, develop, and continuously evolve Brookfield Renewable's project management methodology, standards, and tools.
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships within the business, IT, and external parties to ensure clear expectations and priorities.
  • Ensure all IT projects are well-defined, tracked, controlled, and communicated in a consistent and effective manner.
  • Identify dependencies between programs and projects that will affect priority sequencing and resource allocation decisions.
  • Coordinate resources required to deliver services and deliverables.
  • Lead, coach, and support project managers to ensure all projects are delivered within the defined scope, quality, time, and cost requirements.
  • Manage and execute on the compliance needs of BSG IT in relation to SOX.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in vendor management.
Knowledge and Experience Required
  • University degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing large, complex project/program portfolios and implementing project management methodologies and tools.
  • Deep understanding of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Waterfall, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Strong vendor relationship management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, plus a strong ability to mentor and develop others.
  • Demonstrated capability to make decisions and gain cooperation from others.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, manage expectations, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL and ITSM tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with various internal business units, IT teams, and external service providers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to relate to people, and adapt to different needs and styles.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in managing projects.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in managing quality assurance activities in an IT service delivery environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing ITGC compliance audits.
