We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a solid understanding of quality assurance principles and software testing methodologies.

About the Role

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with test documentation and execution for our Applications and integration points. You will partner with Application Development teams and other stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of QA services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Business, Development, Application Manager, and Project Manager to define strategy and execution.
  • Create and/or provide input into project estimates and test schedules.
  • Review Functional/Technical documents and create Test Plans/Strategy for Applications under test for System Testing phase.
  • Prioritize testing tasks based on goals and risks of projects and ensure testing milestones, activities, and tasks are completed as scheduled.
  • Ability to identify and diagnose risks and testability issues found during testing. Collaborate with Developers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts to ensure that issues and risks are identified, logged, and resolved.
  • Conduct Defect meetings during System Testing and UAT phases.
  • Hands-on working experience in regression suite design, execution, and maintenance. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Support Business during UAT testing and end-to-end testing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience writing and maintaining automated tests.
  • Excellent debugging skills.
  • Knowledge of programming and test automation fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with a modern programming language, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Relational database concepts and knowledge in SQL.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
