The Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer-in-Training with experience in municipal infrastructure, land development, bridges, and/or roads. As a key member of our Terrace, BC team, you will support the execution of various civil projects, including water, sewer, drainage, municipal transportation infrastructure, bridges, roads, and large-scale civil projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop water, sewer, drainage, and municipal transportation infrastructure projects
  • Participate in field engineering during the construction of projects
  • Support the development of estimates, analysis, designs, reports, proposals, and contract documentation
  • Maintain excellent client relationships through dedication to providing high-quality work on time and on schedule

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (other disciplines considered if practicing Civil Engineering)
  • Eligibility to register as an EIT with EGBC in British Columbia
  • 0-4 years of relevant civil engineering experience
  • Field experience in materials testing, survey engineering, or contract administration is beneficial
  • Experience in bridge design, hydrology, or hydraulics is also advantageous
  • Effective communication skills, including presentation, facilitation, and listening
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
