Job Description

This role is based on a customer service representative position that provides electrical support and knowledge to customers. The Electrical Support Specialist will assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct equipment for their applications, while also promoting visits to the branch through outbound calls and regular customer interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Promote rental opportunities through outbound calls and regular customer interactions.
  • Handle walk-in traffic and customer inquiries for new, used, and rental equipment sales.
  • Provide product information and technical support on equipment applications, rentals, and quotes.
  • Owning the life cycle of orders from start to completion.
  • Engage with customers to identify their needs and provide solutions.
  • Collaborate with Outside Sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct site visits to provide electrical support and knowledge to customers.
  • Work with the staff at the branch and locations within the larger Finning rental network to ensure customers are supported.
Requirements
  • Journeyperson Electrical Certification is an asset but not a requirement.
  • Equipment rental industry experience is considered an asset.
  • 2+ years of customer interaction experience is an asset.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight timelines and deadlines.
  • Able to work with a variety of customers and equipment.
  • Must be knowledgeable of electrical applications of temporary power.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

The estimated salary range is based on industry standards and location. However, the actual salary may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.
