Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Ridge Meadows Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of respiratory services.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of CAD $37.89 - $47.31 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth and advancement.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assessing patients' needs and developing personalized care plans.
- Perform various respiratory therapy functions, including pulmonary function tests and exercise oximeter studies.
- Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of respiratory services within the assigned area.
- Maintain accurate patient records and statistics, as well as participate in education and supervision of new staff members.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a strong background in respiratory therapy, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A degree from an approved Respiratory Therapy program and recent experience in an acute care setting are also required.
