The Friendly Greek Baker

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at The Friendly Greek. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory pastries, breads, and desserts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Bake mixed dough and batters
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas
  • Operate machinery
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 hours per week
  • English language
Work Environment:

The Friendly Greek is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and manual dexterity are essential. The ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads is also required.
