Job Title: Tile Installer

GURVI CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing tiles in various settings, including commercial and residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tiles
  • Mix and apply adhesives, such as mortar and cement, to set tiles in place
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
  • Install tile strips
Requirements:
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in tile installation and related fields
  • Knowledge of tile types, materials, and installation methods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
