Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Architecture Design: Design robust cloud architectures on AWS, taking into account best practices, scalability, and security. Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate the best cloud solutions into existing applications.
  • Implementation and Integration: Implement cloud architectures using an automation-based approach, infrastructure as code (IaC), and AWS services. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud solutions by identifying and resolving bottlenecks. Implement automatic scaling mechanisms to ensure optimal performance at all times.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement robust security strategies to protect cloud environments. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for data security.
  • Cost Management: Optimize costs related to cloud infrastructure by implementing cost control mechanisms and suggesting cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality and performance.
  • Collaboration and Training: Work closely with internal teams and clients to understand needs and provide tailored solutions. Provide training and guidance to team members on AWS best practices.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud architectures on the AWS platform.
  • Solid knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.
  • Profound automation and scripting skills, with a preference for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
  • Excellent understanding of cloud security principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • AWS Architect certification would be an asset.
