Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health Mental Health and Substance Use Services teams in Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton. The successful candidate will have experience and comfort in working with a wide range of psychiatric conditions including persistent and serious mental illness, mood and anxiety disorders, personality and substance use disorders.

The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with well-functioning interdisciplinary teams of psychiatric nurses, clinical counselors, occupational and vocational therapists, outreach workers and peer support workers. They will also be comfortable working with a diverse group of full-service family physicians and specialists.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) Provisional
• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) Desired
