About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Sweet Capone's Italian Bakery and Cannoli Shop. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Receive and store supplies, including food, ingredients, and cleaning materials
  • Participate in food preparation, including cooking, heating, and finishing dishes
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including floors, counters, and equipment
  • Support the kitchen team in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
