About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Master Woodcraft Specialist to join our team at Paradigm Building Solutions Ltd. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitness and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Supervise other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments

This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction carpentry and hold a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Compensation Package

The salary for this position is approximately $62,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer benefits such as paid time off, health insurance, and professional development opportunities.

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction carpentry
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Please note that this is a full-time position with a standard working schedule of 40 hours per week. Work language is English.
