The Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) is seeking a Medical Curriculum Expert to oversee the Public Health and Preventive Medicine (PHPM) curriculum. This role will provide direction and oversight for PHPM content across all four years of the MD program.

Responsibilities
  • Provide overall direction on PHPM curriculum content and delivery throughout the MD program at the UME Curriculum Committee to ensure integration across the four years.
  • Work closely with the PHPM Section Chair to bridge issues across the PHPM continuum of medical education at NOSM University (NOSM U).
  • Represent NOSM U UME PHPM at relevant local and national undergraduate education tables.
  • Participate in overseeing PHPM curriculum content and academics in the clerkship years.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine degree
  • Current license to practice medicine in the province of Ontario
  • Faculty appointment with NOSM U
  • Effective communication skills in English (verbally, written and comprehension)
