Job Title: Water Heater Installer

We are seeking a skilled Water Heater Installer to join our team at World of Comfort Ltd. As a Water Heater Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water heaters and related systems.

Job Summary:
  • Install, maintain, and repair water heaters and related systems
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient and effective service
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on water heaters and related systems
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
Responsibilities:
  • Install exterior and interior prefabricated water heaters
  • Repair and service exterior and interior prefabricated water heaters
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
  • Utilize hand and power tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
  • Search, locate, and repair reported water leaks
  • Ensure safety standards and departmental policies are met
  • Ensure systems and equipment are operating efficiently and properly maintained
  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and building codes
  • Maintain records of treatments given
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems
  • Maintain equipment and supplies
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Physical demands of the job include standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in various weather conditions
