Financial Reporting and Accounting Manager

Best Buy is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting and Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements, as well as providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the monthly general ledger reconciliation process and ensure compliance with US GAAP
- Manage resources to ensure deadlines are met for month-end closing and financial reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to apply professional judgment in accounting for new business opportunities and processes
- Design and implement SOX and non-SOX processes related to financial statements and month-end reporting
- Build a best-in-class controllership team through recruitment, development, recognition, and performance management
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a mid-large size organization
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing a team
- Strong knowledge and application of GAAP
- An accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CA)
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
