Arborist Consultant

Job Summary:

Wright Canada Holdings Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Arborist Consultant to join our team. As an Arborist Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of trees and brush along power line corridors.

Responsibilities:

• Identification, inspection, and reporting of trees and brush
• Consultation and consenting with landowners and/or stakeholders
• Quality assurance and quality control auditing, inspections, and compliance
• Discussion and negotiation of access issues with stakeholders/property owners
• Safeguarding employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area
• Enforcing on-the-job safety practices
• Carrying and utilizing materials, tools, and equipment at the work site
• Service and maintenance of trucks and equipment
• Upholding core values and maintaining a positive work environment

Requirements:

• Integrated Resource Management diploma, Forestry Resource Technology diploma, and/or BSc in Forestry
• One or more years of Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) field-related experience
• Species identification skills and invasive species knowledge
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing situations
