About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Technologist to join our team at Feenstra Architecture Inc. as a Shop Drawing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and preparing design sketches, construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train other drafting personnel to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop and prepare design sketches, construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for various projects.
  • Prepare contracts and tenders, as well as technical reports and specifications.
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets, and examine drawings for conformity and errors.
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drafting and design.
  • Strong knowledge of Autodesk REVIT and other drafting software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
