About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Director to join our team at Fed Finance. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for leading and managing our assurance team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Distributing files among team members and ensuring workload is evenly distributed;
  • Managing and following up on mandates within the assurance team;
  • Providing training and mentoring to assurance staff on accounting standards and internal controls;
  • Managing staff under their responsibility, including performance appraisals, attendance, and coaching;
  • Reviewing financial information and statements, and answering questions related to their presentation;
  • Following up on deadlines for client files and coordinating year-end mandates;
  • Reviewing individual and corporate income tax returns, and following up on dividends for tax forms;
  • Participating in special mandates and responding to government requests.

You will be working closely with our team of finance experts to deliver exceptional results to our clients.
