Storehouse Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storehouse Manager to join our team at Halton Healthcare. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment to our facilities.

• Receiving and Inspection: Receive and inspect shipments for damages and shortages, and record all receipts into our computerized system.
• Inventory Management: Count and verify shipments from packing slips to our computerized materials management system, and ensure accurate record-keeping of stock issued and received.
• Stock Rotation and Expiry Dates: Ensure stock rotation of all supplies and check expiry dates to maintain a safe and effective inventory.
• Discrepancies and Communication: Handle discrepancies with finance, stores, and purchasing staff, and communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues.
• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, and replenish stock daily to ensure adequate supplies.
• Security and Safety: Ensure that inventory is secure at all times, and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to WHMIS and MSDS regulations.
• Mail and Inventory Management: Sort and redirect internal mail, and take inventory and scan floors daily with electronic HHD.

• Education: High School Diploma required.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in data entry and keyboarding, with experience using multiple materials management computerized systems.
• Physical Abilities: Able to perform repetitive heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds), pushing/pulling of heavy loads, and extensive standing and walking.
• Experience: Related experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
• Soft Skills: Self-motivated, able to work independently, and effectively in a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
