About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate, Institutional to join our team at Nicola Wealth. As a key member of our Institutional team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support business development activities, including coordinating RFP and Due Diligence Questionnaire processes, managing data requests, and preparing presentations for business development opportunities.
  • Manage the client onboarding process, including coordination of internal meetings, legal requirements, and client communication.
  • Prepare investment portfolio reviews, including supporting materials, client updates, and review meetings.
  • Manage day-to-day client requests and resolve queries in a personalized manner.
  • Produce quarterly and ad-hoc reporting as required.
  • Manage databases, including eVestment and Preqin, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Build relationships with internal teams to foster collaboration and support the growth of the institutional line of business.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of related work experience in an Institutional investment team.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related discipline.
  • Completion of a graduate degree or MBA program is considered an asset.
  • Working towards CFA or CIM designation is highly desirable.
  • Experience delivering results in high-performing client service-oriented roles with both internal and external clients.
