Position Overview

Green Metal Roofing & Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a dedicated Metal Roofing Specialist to join our team. This role requires a professional with significant experience in the roofing industry, particularly in metal roofing applications.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree required
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in roofing
Work Environment
  • Work will be conducted at various heights
  • Exposure to outdoor conditions
  • Potentially hazardous environments
Work Setting
  • Projects may include commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential buildings
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications to ascertain project requirements
  • Utilize hand and power tools for the installation and repair of metal roofing systems
  • Install sheet metal flashings as necessary
  • Set up and dismantle scaffolding and other work platforms
Supervisory Role

This position may involve overseeing a small team of 3-4 individuals.

Required Certifications
  • Completion of Working at Heights training
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Specialization

Experience with skylights is considered an asset.

Transportation Requirements

A valid driver's license is mandatory for this role.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Capable of handling heavy loads (up to 45 kg or 100 lbs)
  • Repetitive tasks requiring hand-eye coordination

Additional Information
