Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Arshad Ali Peer. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to infants and children in a loving and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, maintaining a positive and respectful relationship.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering their growth and independence.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the children, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their cognitive and social development.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, offering comfort and reassurance when needed.
  • Work a permanent schedule, with 32.5 hours per week, and communicate effectively with the family to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • English or French language proficiency.
