About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Tire, Brake and Alignment Technician to join our team at Kal Tire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our valued customers while expanding your knowledge of automotive technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute front-end brake services, shocks, and wheel alignments with precision and attention to detail.
- Safely perform tire removal, installation, and repair for passenger and light truck vehicles, including removing wheel assemblies, dismounting and mounting tires, balancing, inflating, and reinstalling tires.
- Diagnose tire issues, evaluate reparability, and apply appropriate repair methods.
- Assist and perform mechanical inspections and services, including work order procedures, alignment, flush machines, and oil lube and filter service.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, consistently surpassing each client's expectations.
Requirements
- Completion of Automotive Technician Program or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license.
- Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and a desire to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to excel in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout the day.
- Motivated, positive attitude, respectful work environment, and a desire to develop team members in a positive atmosphere.
