As a key member of our procurement team, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, managing complex purchasing processes, and ensuring that the company obtains the best possible value for its investments.
The successful candidate will lead the procurement of goods and services across various categories, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. They will develop and implement regional sourcing strategies to optimize the supply chain and reduce overall procurement costs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Negotiating favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maximize cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Evaluating supplier performance regularly and collaborating on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and external regulations, including ethical sourcing and sustainability standards.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with at least 5-7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier negotiation, and contract management is essential.
