Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Senior Digital Marketing Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for planning and managing impactful, data-driven lifecycle marketing programs that drive acquisition, nurture, and retain customers through a defined journey.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies and projects, including email, SMS, loyalty, and retention programs and tactics.
- Plan, execute, and refine multi-channel campaigns for clients, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Provide guidance and support with campaign briefs, pre-deployment testing, and/or customer segmentation for a variety of client projects.
- Define and measure channel metrics to ensure projects are delivered with measurable success and achieve performance targets.
- Conduct audits on clients' lifecycle marketing initiatives to create strategic roadmaps for growth and performance in alignment with their business goals.
- Aid in the preparation and delivery of client presentations and effectively manage technical questions from clients.
- Identify and develop solutions that enable Northern Commerce to expand existing client services and new client acquisition.
- Minimum + years of marketing experience with a proven track record in email marketing.
- Advanced experience with Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and/or Adobe Campaign.
- Experience with SMS marketing and CRM platforms required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, specifically applied to email and SMS performance and ability to implement strategic optimizations.
- Proficiency with HTML, MJML, CSS, and/or responsive email coding.
- A College diploma, University degree, or relevant job-related experience. We welcome highly experienced, self-taught, and self-motivated learners who express a strong passion for digital marketing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of CASL, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR compliance.
- Proficiency with customer data management, measuring channel metrics and performance, and monitoring deliverability.
- Agency experience preferred, with + years experience in a client-facing role and knowledge of overall agency processes using agile project management methodologies.
- Prior experience with migrating email marketing platforms, specifically the requirements for transitioning successfully through account setup, data migration, and account warming processes.
- Understanding of customer data platforms (CDP) and CRM integrations that support marketing activities.
- Platform certifications in Salesforce (e.g. Marketing Cloud Administrator) and/or Adobe Campaign (e.g. Business Practitioner).
- Awesome Google Workspace skills.
