**Job Description:**
The Casual Dietary Aide will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents by providing high-quality meal services and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.
Responsibilities will include serving food according to individual diets, assisting cooks with meal preparation, cleaning and sanitizing dishes and equipment, and participating in inventory management and waste reduction initiatives.
Successful candidates will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to resident-centered care.
Key Accountabilities:
- Serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist cooks with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables and fruits.
- Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, adhering to established protocols.
- Participate in inventory management and waste reduction initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
