Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Subway Sandwich & Salad.

As a Food Service Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food. You will also be responsible for training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role and a secondary (high) school graduation certificate. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Establish work schedules

Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and physical demands are high. The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
