At RONA Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Development and Operations Manager to join our team. This is a key role that will be responsible for the development and launch of new stores dedicated to professional customers within our extensive banner.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, operations, and category management, with a proven track record of success in large-scale corporate environments. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for floorplans, collaborating with finance, procurement, and merchandising teams, and managing implementation schedules and project teams.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a team and manage multidisciplinary projects. They will be bilingual (FR/EN) and have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for floorplans, taking into account the specific needs of professional customers
  • Collaborate with finance, procurement, and merchandising teams to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the development process
  • Manage implementation schedules and coordinate project teams
  • Develop sales budgets for professional stores and define strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective and attractive product assortments and planograms
Requirements:
  • University degree in project management, administration, or related field
  • At least 10 years' experience in project management, ideally in a large-scale corporate environment
  • Proven experience in operations and category management (an asset)
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers and partners
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a team and manage multidisciplinary projects
  • Bilingualism: FR/EN
