About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Grocery Clerk Supervisor to join our team at SRF Grocery Store Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our grocery department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Assign sales workers to duties, taking into account their skills and experience.
  • Plan and develop permanent and temporary exhibits and displays for our store.
  • Order merchandise and authorize returns, ensuring that our inventory is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that sales workers are meeting their targets.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that our store is always well-stocked.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
