As a Senior Technical Writer, you will play a key role in creating high-quality documentation for our Well-Architected Content, driving content strategy in alignment with engineering product strategy, and providing technical feedback on new features and experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Author and Deliver High-Quality Documentation: Create accurate, clear, and concise documentation for our Well-Architected Content, ensuring that it meets the needs of our technical audience.
  • Develop and Drive Content Strategy: Collaborate with engineering product strategy to develop and drive content strategy, ensuring that it aligns with business objectives.
  • Provide Technical Feedback: Provide technical feedback on new features and experiences, ensuring that they meet the needs of our technical audience.
  • Work with Customer Data: Gather feedback from customers and drive insights into content and product planning.
  • Collaborate with Writers and Editors: Work with other writers and editors to improve how we write and evolve how we approach writing as a team.

The AWS Documentation team writes and provides support for a diverse audience consisting of developers, DevOps professionals, IT professionals, technical program managers, and scientists. We innovate, research, learn, and experiment, collaborating with product managers to understand our customers' needs and partnering with software developers to learn the inner workings of AWS services.
