This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst to contribute to the success of our organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in applications development and be able to participate in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs.
Key Responsibilities- We are looking for someone who can conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs.
- The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as providing user and operational support on applications to business users.
- In this role, you will utilize your in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement.
- You will recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality.
- The ideal candidate will consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems.
- Essential procedures must be followed, and you will help define operating standards and processes.
- You will serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
- The ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision is required.
- You will exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- You will act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of core Java (v8+)/J2EE and Spring framework is necessary.
- Proficiency in Microservice architecture is required.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle is necessary.
- Experience working with containerized environments (ECS/Kubernetes/Docker) is required.
- Familiarity with http protocol and web applications, including session management is necessary.
- Ability to develop secure and scalable application following secure coding best practices is required.
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications is necessary.
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects is required.
- Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods is necessary.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements is required.
