Job Title:Masonry CraftsmanAbout the Job:

C & C Construction is seeking a skilled Masonry Craftsman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to construct residential and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys.
  • Lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • The position is physically demanding and requires handling heavy loads.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling are also required.
Personal Suitability:
  • Client focus is essential for this role.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
