Job Title: Live-in Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to join our team at Compassion. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to our elderly clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our clients.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Mend clothing and linens, ensuring our clients' needs are met.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, keeping our clients' homes tidy and organized.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring our clients' needs are met.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in caregiving or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and repetitive tasks.
Work Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
  • English or French language proficiency.
