Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Summary:
Wayfair is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Enterprise Cybersecurity team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing preventative measures to protect Wayfair from outside attackers and insider threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise-wide security controls to protect Wayfair's technologies, data, and networks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and provide guidance to the team on best practices for security.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a security or information technology related field.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (such as Terraform and DSC), including extensive experience with Python.
- Strong knowledge of foundational network security concepts such as wireless technologies, layer 7 firewalls, and VLANs.
